When BearCom came to Imaginuity in 2018, they were concerned over the relevancy of their business to their customers, their employees and recruits — regardless of being Motorola’s largest channel partner selling two-way radios and wireless telecommunications systems. The availability of push-to-talk technology coupled with the emergence of companies in similar, peripheral, or more advanced technology fields drove them to retain Imaginuity’s help in developing a refreshed brand, updating their positioning and bringing their brand to life for customers and employees visiting their headquarters in Dallas.

Always On

After lengthy internal and external stakeholder interviews, the team arrived at the concept “Always On”, which would serve as the company’s refreshed brand promise. Since two-way radios are more reliable than cellular networks, the concept is not only reflective of BearCom’s technology, it speaks to BearCom employees and their dedication to always being there for their teams and customers.

Reception

  • Imaginuity’s work for BearCom was very well-received by employees and by Motorola

  • Employee engagement and perception increased significantly across departments and levels

  • BearCom was acquired by a larger private equity company several months post-launch
